Dynamic Contrast 2,000,000:1 with IPS LED LCD Technology

Both high contrast and energy-saving efficiency have been achieved in the IPS LED LCD TV by combining the IPS panel, which is known for its wide viewing angle, with a bright, energy-efficient LED backlight. Even dark scenes like night skies are naturally rendered with delicate shades of black. The Intelligent Scene Controller further boosts the image quality.

Intellgent Flame Creation Pro

Even fast-moving scenes are displayed sharply and clearly. With a 50Hz video signal input, Intelligent Frame Creation Pro makes 100 frames/second from 50 frames/second. This increases the

frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, for smooth motion images with high resolution. VIERA also uses motion focus technology to greatly enhance resolution.

Wide Viewing Angle

Panasonic’s brand new LCD iDTV is equipped with a Full-HD IPS Panel. The wide 178°* viewing angle ensures clear images even when viewed from an angle. The backlight's wide transmission aperture enhances the contrast between light and dark, and improves motion-image response.

24p Smooth Film

Enjoy naturally flowing 24p films and familiar TV-like quality. This mode optimises the number of frames of 24p images recorded from film media such as a Blu-ray Disc™. Advanced source analysis and frame generation produce smooth images that are faithful to the original.

Panasonic’s brand new LCD iDTV is equipped with USB and SD Card slots. Users can view AVCHD Full-HD and JPEG photos in a 16:9 ratio or listen to MP3 music files. This further expands the possibilities for VIERA enjoyment.

For example, you can watch still and motion images that are saved onto your PC on a large-screen TV. Using a Wi-Fi connection lets you connect devices anywhere in the house over a wireless network for the most flexible installation ever.

USB HDD Recording

USB HDD Recording lets you easily record onto an external USB HDD. Simply connect a cable between VIERA's USB terminal and the USB terminal of the USB HDD. Recordings can be easily controlled using VIERA's remote control. You can record your favourite TV series, films and other content on to the USB HDD. Rewind Live TV lets you to rewind a live TV programme to catch the scenes you want to see, so you won't miss the important moments.You can also register up to eight external USB HDDs, to create a personal library for each member of the family.

The data recorded to the USB HDD with this TV can only be played back on this TV. You cannot playback the data on other TVs (including the TV of the same model number) or any PCs.
If your TV is repaired by malfunctions, the registered USB HDD may not be available with your repaired TV.
This TV supports USB HDD with minimum capacity of 160 GB to a maximum capacity of 2 TB.
Analogue TV programmes cannot be recorded to the USB HDD.
Not all the programmes can be recorded depending on the broadcaster and service provider.
