Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients

Drumstick 5 pcs
Bacon 4 pcs
Shallots (chopped) 4 pcs
Onion (cut into strips) 1 pc
White Mushroom (slices) 4 pcs
Tomato (cut into small pieces) 2 pcs
Olive Oil 2 tbsp.
Dried Rosemary 1 tbsp.
Dried Oregano 1 tbsp.
Dried Thyme 1 tbsp.
White Wine 70ml
Vegetable broth 600ml
Tomato Paste 170g
Sugar 2.5 tsp.
Salt Moderate

Directions

  1. Wash and wipe the drumsticks.
  2. Heat the dutch oven with high heat and add 1 tbsp. of olive oil, fry the drumsticks to medium-well, store for later use.
  3. Add 1 tbsp. of olive oil to the same pan, saute chopped shallots, white mushroom, onion, dried rosemary, dried oregano, dried thyme and bacon. Add drumsticks, tomato, tomato paste, white wine, vegetable broth, sugar and salt. Turn off the heat after boiling and cover the dutch oven with lid.
  4. Preheat the Panasonic "Inverter" Steam & Grill Microwave Oven NN-CS89LB by selecting “Combi 2” (Steam 1 + Convection 230 °C).
  5. 5. After preheat, put the dutch oven into the lower shelf position of the "Inverter" Steam & Grill Microwave Oven, fill the water tank and set for 30 mins.
