Baked Pork Chops with Fried Rice

Ingredients

Thick Cut Pork Chop 1 pc
Rice 250g
Tomato (Cut in small pieces) 1/2 pc
Onion (Cut in small pieces) 1/4 pc
Pineapple (Cut in small pieces) 1 slide
Egg 2 pcs
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 20g
Corn Starch Moderate
Salt (Moderate)
 
Marinade
Soy Sauce 1 tsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Cooking Wine (1 tsp.)
 
Sauce
Tomato Puree 3 tbsp.
Tomato Paste 1 tsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Water 3 tbsp.

Directions

  1. Wash the pork chop and wipe dry, beat the pork chop on each side by using the back of the knife, marinate for 15 mins.
  2. Whisk an egg, dip the pork chop in egg and then cost with corn starch, dip in egg and coat with corn starch again.
  3. Switch on the IH Cooker KY-C227W, select "Deep-Fry" mode and set to 170℃, heat oil to around 0.5cm deep.
  4. You will hear a "beep" sound after preheat is completed. Fry the pork chop until golden brown. Let cool and cut into pieces for later use.
  5. Whisk an egg and heat the pan with oil. Stir evenly the rice and egg with some salt until golden. Put in the baking tray for later use.
  6. Heat the pan with oil, saute the onion, tomato, and tomato paste until fragrant, add tomato puree, sugar and water until it boils. Finally add the pineapple and cook it into a sauce.
  7. Pour the sauce on the fried rice, put the fried pork chop pieces on top and sprinkle with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  8. Put the baking tray into Digital Control Electric Oven NB-DT52, select 240℃ and set for 4 mins. until the cheese is golden brown.
