Steamed Rice Roll with Sakura Shrimp

Ingredients

Rice Flour 120g
Wheat Flour 10g
Cornflour 15g
Water 400ml
Vegetable oil 10g
Dried Sakura Shrimp Moderate
Scallion Moderate
Sweet Soy Sauce Moderate
White sesame Moderate

Non-stick baking pan ~22 x 17cm

Directions

  1. Mix rice flour, wheat flour and cornflour, add water in 2 times and stir evenly, then add vegetable oil and mix thoroughly.
  2. Place the wire rack on the metal tray and put the non-stick baking pan on top. Put into Panasonic Steam Oven NU-SC180W lower and upper level. Select "Steam" mode, adjust the time to 5 minuts to heat up the cavity and baking pan to prevent batter from settling.
  3. After that, take out the metal tray and the baking pan (Please be aware of hot steam when opeing the door and wear oven gloves). Close the door immediately to keep the temperature inside the cavity.
  4. Apply some vegetable oil on the baking pans, mix the batter again and pour into the baking pan. Sprinkle with some Sakura shrimps and scallion. Repeat the same steps for the second tray.
  5. Put the baking pans and metal trays back to the Steam Oven, select "Steam" mode and set for 6 minutes.
  6. Let it cool for 1 minutes after finish, roll up the rice roll.
  7. Serve with sweet soy sauce and white sesame.

The recipe is designed based on Panasonic Steam Oven NU-SC180W.
