Braised Beef Plate and Tendons with Zhuhou Sauce Back

Ingredients

Beef Plate (wash) 600 g
Beef Tendon (wash) 300 g
Corn Starch 1 tbsp
White Radish (wash, peel) 600 g
Ginger (slice) 4 pcs
Water 700 ml
 
Spice Pack
Sichuan Pepper 1 tbsp
Grosvenor Momordica 1/2 pc
Star Anise 2 pcs
 
Seasoning
Zhuhou Sauce 3 tbsp
Oyster Sauce2 tbsp
Mei Kuel Lu Chiew 2 tbsp
Rock Sugar 30 g

Directions

  1. Use Panasonic Induction Cooker KY-E227D, select ‘Heating Level 9’ to boil the water, then blanch beef and tendons for 5 minutes, remove form hot water and wash with water.

  2. Chop the beef and tendon into a bite size.

  3. White Radish cut into large chunks.

  4. Put the sichuan pepper, star anise and grosvenor momordica into the spice pack and tie for spare.

  5. Add corn starch and all seasoning into the beef and tendons to mix well.

  6. Put the spice pack, white radish, water and ginger slices into the Panasonic Electronic Pressure Cooker.

  7. Select ‘High’ pressure for 20 minutes.

  8. After the pressure released, take out all ingredients and sauce for serve.
