24.2MP Partially Stacked CMOS Sensor

LUMIX’s unique color science, based on its picture-making philosophy “Capturing It All,” works in harmony with a 24.2MP BSI CMOS sensor to produce stunningly lifelike images. High Resolution mode also enables you to capture 96MP-equivalent images, even when shooting handheld, for exceptional detail without sacrificing mobility.

AFC 30 fps Burst Shooting

In H+ Burst Shooting mode, the camera achieves blackout-free shooting at approximately 10 fps with AFC using the mechanical shutter*1, allowing for confident framing with post view support. Switch to the electronic shutter's SH Burst or SH Pre-Burst modes, and you can capture critical moments at up to 30 fps, even during fast-moving scenes like sports or wildlife.

Evolved Real-time Recognition AF

The LUMIX S1M2E camera incorporate advanced AI technology for detecting human eyes and faces, resulting in enhanced recognition performance*2. This capability particularly excels in challenging scenes, such as when the subject's face is tilted or partially obscured, allowing for more accurate focusing on the eyes and face. A new Urban Sports recognition feature is also supported*3.

The monitor can be rotated freely while tilted without interfering with HDMI or USB cables, which is useful for photography and video shooting. The 5.76 million dots OLED monitor presents the subject with fine gradations and high clarity throughout, delivering eye-level resolution
